Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje @57: A must read Eulogy

CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DR. UZODINMA ADIRIEJE

It was like the raining of snow as it overpowered the always resilient breaking of the day. People on that day like this day, this special day of your birth wondered what was about happening. Just like MAMA AFRICA’s experience in her first morning in America, she thought already she was in the transformation stage of the second coming of Jesus Christ.

I could literally fiction how restless your mummy was because a KING was about to be welcomed to the world where everything is possible with God.

See how your daddy was riding on a bicycle furiously, checking on friends. It seems, he couldn’t get what he actually wanted. Little did he remember, his grandfather had got some effective herbal that could be of help. The turning of the bicycle to GRANDPA’s direction was so acrobatic that even the blind can feel an anticipated birth of a leader.

Your mother, this time, had garnered a stone throw-energy as she sat on the ground, patiently waiting to get some herbal painkillers, perhaps the pains of birth-giving can subside.

Yes, your mummy, in her pains, believed her child will one day make her smile. She would gaze a little to the four corners of the room in pains as you kicked harder, giving powerful signals about your coming to this world, well loaded for exploit in conjunction with the destiny God has programmed you for. I can imagine God whispering to you at the last minute of your NINE months, saying “Uzodinma, remember Africa”.

I can imagine how you were shocked. “Your Africa”? you briskly asked the lord.
“Yes, my Africa”, your creator replied as he smiled while he got caught up in other activities.

“What do you mean”? You asked carefully even as your concern at this moment was to leave mummy’s Tommy.

On earth, Your Mummy still in pains as you kicked further profusely. She wouldn’t stop praying in her mind that God grant her safe delivery while unknowing to her that her child was receiving the last command from his creator.

She continued, but at this time, she was stoke deeply with a concern. She was in soliloquy as she double gestured toward the luminaries of the sky on the gender of her child. She had this time preferred a male child, but how would she know the gender? She continuously asked as a local Hen cat-walked toward the door, with a lot of sounds.

This refreshed her mind as she quickly relinquished and came to reality of her being in labour.

Now, the great philanthropist, a humanitarian to the core was getting ready to push his way out. He blinked his eyes boldly in spaces of seconds as he rolled his entire body out, just at the time his father and a team of family members stormed the compound.

I can see mummy rushing to pick her newborn as she gazed to know the gender. “Hmmm”, she breaths out ruthlessly in joy upon getting unfolded that she has borne a male child.

Daddy was told his wife has given birth to a male child. This was tidings that had attracted a billion in dollars worth of joy.

I could have fiction, how joyous I was, if only was borne before that time and that I am appraised, I was gonna meet you in the process of time, on earth. But, would I have also not thought it is a mirage?

Well, meeting you here and now is the best ever. Thanks to God. Your purpose is yet to come. The best for you is yet to come, relax, and continue waiting on God as your days of glory are closer than you ever imagine. Congratulations sir.
