Batmanghlich, stated that Prof. Cameron A. Batmanghlich (PH.D. M.SC., PGCHEP) is a full Professor in Leadership, Founder and President of ‘Eurasian Doctoral Student Academy’.
” Prof. Cameron A. Batmanghlich, received his PhD with DISTINCTION from School of Management, University of Bradford (Triple Crown: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS) in ‘Corporate Leadership and Ethics’. He was awarded his full Professorship in 2014, from four different institutions. Professor Batmanghlich has a strong international background having lived and worked in over eleven different countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America, The Caribbean, China, Central Asia, and Africa. Early on, Prof. Batmanghlich, made the strategic decision to pursue administrative and leadership roles within academia instead of focusing on research. This decision was underpinned in his strong entrepreneurial and business background having had worked as an executive and consultant over 15 years, covering many industries and markets prior to embarking on an academic career. Yet, Prof. Batmanghlich has published articles, been a speaker at the international conferences and co-authored books with colleagues from Latin America. Currently, Prof. Batmanghlich is working on a new book on research methodology. His last book published by ‘Springer’ called ‘Why Leaders Fail Ethically’ has been downloaded and sold over 8000 copies since its publication in 2015. For the past 4 years, Prof. Batmanghlich has worked as a consultant within the Higher Education Sector, been acting Dean and in 2015, he launched his own Doctoral Academy called Eurasian Doctoral Student Academy (EDSA), the winner of the Education and Training Awards from Corporate Vision in the U.K. both in 2020 and 2021. This career trajectory started in 2015 whence Prof. Batmanghlich assumed the role as the Deputy Dean and Director of the MBA Department at the Graduate School of Business – Almaty Management University (GSB-AlmaU), which according to EdUniversal is ranked the Number One Business School in Central Asia.
” AlmaU was the first Business School to get AMBA accreditation in Kazakhstan and start an MBA and DBA program with over 400 MBA candidates enrolled, where Prof. Batmanghlich oversaw. During this time, Prof. Batmanghlich’s other and significant accomplishments were the reaccreditation of the MBA programs with AMBA, accrediting the DBA programs with AMBA and in charge of accreditation process with AACSB. Prof. Batmanghlich successfully managed to get the GSB-AlmaU recognized and registered by AACSB as a separate business schools – first in Kazakhstan. Other achievements by Prof. Batmanghlich at the GSB-AlmaU include: Draft and approval of the strategic plan (2015-2020) for the GSB-AlmaU with eight (8) different strategic directions, among them internationalization and standardization, based on Hybrid Organizational Structure (HOS). Starting a peer-reviewed Scientific Journal called ‘Eurasian Journal of Leadership’ (Eajol) with an impressive editorial board, published scientific articles both in Russian and English Started a joint Global DBA Program with ESC Rennes Business School in France (Triple Crown) with residencies in Rio De Janeiro, Shanghai, Paris, and Almaty)”.
