Boko Haram Myth of Invincibility False – Buratai

Nigeria Ambassador to Republic of Benin, H.E Lt.General TY Buratai (Rtd) has that the fight against insurgents requires everybody’s participation adding that every hands must be on deck to defeat the monster ravaging the country.

Ambassador Buratai however kicked against the notion that the Boko Haram had acquired vudoo powers that make them disappeared before troops saying such notion is just a mare negative narration that has no basics.

He said this while receiving a Lifetime Award in Military Leadership from Northeast star magazine in Yola Adamawa state.

While commending President Muhammadu Buhari, he said the president has done well in motivating the troops and acquired more equipment.

Ambassador Buratai is optimistic that the country shall overcome these threats in no distance time.

Other recipients of the Northeast star magazine award which took place at The conference hall of America University of Nigeria yola (AUN) are H.E Ahamdu umaru fintiri, Governor of Adamawa state, Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf, Rev Yakubu Pam. Prof Ahmed Ahidjo CMD UMTH , HRH the emir of Funakaye 111, Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad among others.
